Warehouse Clerk

POSITION SUMMARY:


  • Loads and unloads materials within plant, and performs a combination of tasks under specific direction.
  • Opens containers using hand tools, counts and weighs materials and records information. Loads and unloads materials into or from trucks by hand.
  • Conveys materials using forklift, electric dolly or other devices
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Accurately verifies receipt of inbound shipments.
  • Promptly delivers shipments to designated departments.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Warehouse experience helpful; forklift experience preferred but will train and certify.
  • Ability to communicate, read, write and understand English fluently.
  • Ability to follow and retain instructions.
  • Ability to work around chemicals. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently.


ITAR REQUIREMENT:
Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the employee must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Walking/Standing for prolonged periods of time.
  • Moderate pushing and pulling.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Exposed to heat, noise and chemical fumes while in production areas.
  • Good hand and eye coordination.
