This job description is for Behavior Technicians -
All Pointe Care, LLC offers a wide range of programs and services to adults and children with varying levels of developmental disabilities, mental health conditions, behavioral concerns and other special needs.
Our Behavior Technicians focus on implementing ABA Therapy in order for individuals to achieve success in the community and at home.
Our office is located in Cheshire, however we serve individuals throughout the state.
All Pointe Care, LLC is currently seeking per diem Behavior Technicians to provide in home services to children on the Autism spectrum. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Implement behavior management strategies developed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Serve as a role model and coach to assist in the development of social and life skills with a focus on independence.
- Assist clients in performing activities of daily living as well as educational support.
- Create daily reports that accurately describe client interaction, behavior, and progress toward achieving set goals.
- Submit reports on a weekly basis in order to keep relevant parties informed of client activity and progress.
- Participate in meetings related to client care.
- Ensure client safety by strict adherence to company policies and protocols.
- Maintain active credentials by attending on-going training and other requirements for continued employment.
- Behavior Technicians must possess the following credentials in order to be considered for employment.
- Availability during weekday afternoons and weekends
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a human services-related field and experience working with individuals on the Autism spectrum OR an Associate’s Degree in a human services-related field and experience working with individuals on the Autism spectrum.
- Experience with children preferred
- CPR/First Aid & PMT certification or willingness to obtain
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
