What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equip Tech/Mechanic position at All Roads?
Are you detail oriented & mechanically inclined and ready for a new challenge? Vermeer All Roads is growing in Colfax, NC and adding an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to our team. Use your mechanical abilities to repair Vermeer machinery and components. Competitive hourly rate & production bonuses available. This is a full time position eligible for benefits.

- Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer Equipment as directed by the branch service manager.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions. Hydraulics & hydrostatic experience required.
- Recognize and suggest appropriate repairs to the service manager.
- Be familiar with the latest industry trends and technical advancements and successfully apply them in daily activities.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of all repairs preformed.
- Creating estimates for repair costs.
- Communicate with the factory for technical assistance.
- All other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience
1. High School Diploma or GED required
2. Hydraulic and hydrostatic experience
3. Electrical troubleshooting experience
4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
5. Positive attitude
6. Must have excellent customer service skills
7. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently
