Construction Project Coordinator

The ideal candidate will coordinate projects from contract award to execution. You will work with project managers, office accountants, and act as the point of contact for material vendors as directed by the project manager.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all stages of project life cycle
  • Contract Review
  • Implement the job budget into the accounting software system (ComputerEase), and perform budget adjustments as needed (Change Orders).
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager and Vendors regarding material purchase orders.
  • Identify the Workers Compensation rate code for each job.
  • Be the record keeper of all source documents of the project.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience
  • Efficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
  • Industry knowledge in construction, specifically road construction of city/county streets and sidewalks.
  • Detail-oriented and strong communication skills
