Area Bar Operations Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Bar Operations Manager to oversee the operations of multiple bars within our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the bar industry, with proven leadership skills and the ability to develop and motivate teams. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service, maximizing profitability, and driving growth across all bars within your designated area.

Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of multiple bars, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions as needed.
• Be on site during peak revenue periods, including weekend nights.
• Monitor inventory levels, product quality, and equipment maintenance to uphold the highest standards of service.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Recruit, train, and mentor bar managers and staff members to ensure a high-performing team at each location.
• Provide ongoing coaching and support to foster individual growth and development within the team.
• Implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and corrective action when necessary.

Financial Management:

• Develop and execute strategies to optimize sales, minimize costs, and maximize profitability across all bars.
• Work closely with bar managers to set and achieve revenue targets, manage budgets, and control expenses effectively.

Customer Experience:

• Maintain a customer-centric focus, ensuring that each bar delivers an exceptional guest experience.
• Monitor customer feedback and trends to identify areas for enhancement and implement initiatives to improve overall satisfaction.
• Champion a culture of hospitality and service excellence among the team members.

Facilities Management and Maintenance:

• Oversee facilities maintenance and repairs for all bars within the area, ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment for staff and guests.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to address any facility-related issues promptly and efficiently.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to prolong the lifespan of equipment and infrastructure.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and licensing requirements governing the operation of bars.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a safe and secure environment for both employees and customers.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in the bar industry.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of successfully developing and motivating teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of bar operations, including inventory management, staffing, and customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to travel within the designated area and work weekends, late nights, and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
