Summary

This position is responsible for analyzing and recording financial information to maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and other financial activities within the organization by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties

• Prepares and inputs financial transactions into general ledger system, manages daily bank transactions, including reconciling cash receipts, disbursements, direct debits, and bank fees.
• Performs various month-end closing activities including journal entries, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and account and bank reconciliations.
• Assists in maintaining controls over accounting transactions to ensure accuracy of the general ledger.
• Processes monthly corporate card statements for payment.
• Prepares accounts receivable invoices and process deposits.
• Monitors accounts receivable aging reports and facilitates appropriate outreach for past due amounts.

Education

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Two year degree preferred.

Skills & Experience

• Office bookkeeping experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills.
