Job Summary:
Reporting to the Buyer, the Inventory Specialist I- Receiving is responsible for managing the day to day receiving logistics at AllCells.
Job Responsibilities:
- Regular attendance and punctuality, 7:30am start time
- Manage all receiving logistics such as, but not limited to receiving shipments, incoming delivery phone notifications, sign paperwork upon receipt, unloading packages, receiving in ERP system, vendor returns etc.,
- Inspect contents for damage and verify packing slip for accuracy (qty, item#, lot#, expiration date etc.)
- Process receipt on all received shipments and service vendor deliveries against the correct PO in a timely manner.
- Send notifications to package recipients
- Monitor weekly service vendors onsite deliveries, contact service vendors on late, missing deliveries, quantity discrepancies.
- Organize manual inventory tracking system
- Create and label critical items and allocate them to designated storage locations.
- Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
- Weekly restock- clinic supply room, production lab supply room and office supply room.
- Monitor and fulfill daily request for additional supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of storage locations and S/R area
- Assist/ develop inventory control improvements
- Assist Accounting with invoice receipt and/ or receipt inquiries.
- Coordinate and execute supply transfer from Alameda to Quincy location
- Execute monthly expired and obsolete inventory, identify and pull expired inventory on report, complete disposition report.
- Review and familiarize the daily “Receive order” report.
- Carry out physical count and inventory adjustments as planned (quarterly, yearly)
- Receive email notification of special customer orders and route them to appropriate buyer/planner so that material can be purchased or manufactured
- Scan COA and QC data entry
- Capable in breaking down shipment on pallets and maneuver a pallet jack (will train, if needed)
- Assist with daily customer order shipment, if needed
- Back up for facility personnel
- All other duties as assigned by the team and manager.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Some experience in inventory or logistics
- Detail oriented
- Proficient computer skills- experience in NetSuite and GSuite a plus.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs
