    We are seeking a music teacher for Glenn Public School, Michigan’s longest continuously run rural school. The music teacher will be responsible for designing and teaching a program that nature based learning. The position is part time for 4 hours a week during the school year.
    Job Duties:
    • Create relevant lesson plans
    • Help students develop an understanding and appreciation of music
    • Plan instructional activities that include extension and enrichment of the curriculum, including field trips, use of community resources, hands on activities and visiting speakers
    • Utilize Nature Rich based learning to create lesson plans
    • Demonstrate knowledge of subject matter being taught
    • Prepare and deliver age-appropriate lessons
    • Communicate with parents and staff by utilizing email and school newsletter
    • Other duties as required and approved by administrator

    Qualifications:
    • Have experience in physical education, coaching or training
    • Teaching certificate
    • Be able to pass Criminal History Record Check
