GENERAL OVERVIEW :

Works directly under a licensed physician that is a Medical Review Officer to organize and facilitate the drug testing process.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Entering drug screen results daily
• Monitoring reports to ensure companies are compliant with drug screen and breath alcohol testing policies
• Management of the Department of Transportation (DOT) Registry
• Entering DOT physicals into the registry daily
• Perform follow up on DOT charts to ensure that all records are in place. 
• Monthly auditing to ensure DOT information is accounted for in the registry
• Review testing results with the Medical Reviewer Physician and notify companies daily with results of physical, drug screen, breath alcohols and blood work results.
• Process drug screens from outside collection sites for review by Medical Review Officer and send results to companies
• Serve as additional resource for the occupational health clinic
• Process monthly company billing documents
• Provide onsite company support for random drug screen and breath alcohol testing. 
• Manage all individual employer policies and procedures in central database. 
• Maintain all correspondence and paperwork daily to ensure proper communication flow. 
• Ensure proper procedures are followed to ensure chain of custody is maintained and communicated to the employer

QUALIFICATIONS :

Minimum

• Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, NHA, NCCT, AMT, AAH, NRCMA, or RMA)
