Allegheny Science & Technology (AST) is currently seeking a Program Analyst – Stakeholder Engagement to provide technical and programmatic support to a federal client agency. The ideal candidate is a confident, proactive, and demonstrated problem-solver and multi-tasker with proven, effective communication skills for collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders; and experienced in sustainable transportation-related research, development, demonstration & deployment (RDD&D) programs.
Position Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare technical material for and participate in stakeholder engagement forums such as conferences, symposiums and technical interchange meetings that may include government representatives, academia, and industry partners.
- Plan, prepare, and disseminate technical content as requested by the client.
- Research, draft, and/or copy edit technical articles and reports, white papers, speeches, talking points, technical briefing materials, presentations, and/or related products as assigned.
- Provide strategic messaging development, implementation, and support as needed.
- Contribute to strategic planning, project progress assessments, and technology transfer efforts.
- Review material for public release to ensure compliance and consistency communications and product governance processes.
- Support Congressional inquiries and responses.
- Assist in reviews of application materials and/or concept papers as needed to support current and future competitive solicitations.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (Communications, Engineering, Science, or related field)
- 5 years of experience
- Authorized to work in the United States with no restrictions.

- Excellent time management skills.
- Flexibility in adapting to shifting client priorities and urgent requests.
- Organized, reliable, detail oriented, proactive, and confident.
- Experience in government/industry collaborative programs.
- Experience liaising with internal and external stakeholders to represent program activities and objectives.
- Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, and/or InDesign.
