Quality and Inventory Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough receiving duties for all inbound shipments.
  • Responsible for recording inventory counts in our MRP software and maintaining warehouse organization.
  • Inspect quantities and quality of shipments received, ensuring adherence to company standards.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in distinguishing between supplier issues and in-house manufacturing defects.
  • Document all identified issues by defect type and effectively communicate with suppliers. Execute procedures for returning products to the appropriate supplier when necessary.
  • Collaborate on implementing corrective action measures for both supplier quality issues and in-house manufacturing discrepancies.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical education or certification is advantageous.
  • Preferably, experience in textile and manufacturing quality control.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards is beneficial.
  • Possess keen attention to detail and maintain accuracy in documentation.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work autonomously and cooperatively in a team setting.
  • Proficient in forklift operation and warehouse duties. Forklift certified a plus.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and performing tasks requiring physical exertion.
