Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Supervisor

Job Summary:
Day Shift ONLY You Must Have 4 years AUTOMOTIVE LOGISTICS EXPERIENCE

LOCATION IS PONTIAC MI

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage the logistics operations of the company
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain and improve efficiency
- Coordinate and monitor the movement of goods, materials, and products
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers and clients
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular audits
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and transportation providers to negotiate contracts and ensure cost-effective solutions
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the logistics process
- Train, supervise, and evaluate logistics staff

Qualifications:

- supply chain management, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in logistics management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of demand planning, materials management, fleet management, and supply chain processes
- Familiarity with freight and package transportation management
- Experience in category management and order picking
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using logistics software systems
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
