Allegiance Staffing is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join one of Shelbyville, Kentucky's leading paint solutions providers.
This role is critical in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of materials within the facility.Job Summary : The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely moving products on the production floor, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring the accuracy of outgoing shipments.
The operator must adhere to all safety protocols and complete both physical and written examinations after the training period.
Additionally, the Forklift Operator will provide support to the production floor as needed.Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Inspect inbound and outbound materials to ensure standards are met.
- Load and unload materials using a forklift.
- Coordinate with leadership to complete tasks and assignments.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist with production floor needs.
- Complete required training.
- Identify and report any safety concerns to supervision.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience (minimum of two years).
- Proven experience as a forklift operator.
- Ability to work a 10-hour shift in a production environment.
- Willingness to assist the production team as needed.
- Ability to lift and move up to 20 pounds.
- Strong communication skills, able to convey needs and requirements respectfully.
Compensation and Work Schedule :
- Pay Rate : $ per hour, with potential for increases.
- Shift : Monday - Thursday, 5 : 00 am - 3 : 30 pm, with overtime as required.

- Attendance : Excellent attendance required.
- Requirements : Must pass drug screen and background check.
