Job description
We are looking for a Telecommunications Forman who can work with our team to install, test, troubleshoot, and repair various telecommunications systems all while managing and maintaining the production of a 2–4-person team to improve the way our company communicates with our customers. This fast-paced position requires a strong work ethic and a desire to seek self-improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and working closely with a small team to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Climbing and working on communication towers to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain wireless systems.
- Assembling/erecting various tower types, including self-support, monopoles, guyed towers, etc.
- Reading construction documents and installing all customer requirements.
- Installing antennas, coax, fiber optic cables, DC power, AC power, etc., at elevated heights of over 100 feet.
- Making sure the entire crew is adhering to all Company and industry (i.e., OSHA, NATE) standards/regulations
- Planning and delegating miscellaneous labor tasks, including digging, and conduit installation to the crew members.
- Performing manual labor to help maintain the work/construction site clean and organized.
· The ability to Interact professionally with subcontractors, safety personnel, and customers.
· Foreman will be responsible for the care of all crew tools, equipment, and vehicles daily
