Allegient Defense is a leader in advanced technology research and solutions development, and we are growing quickly. ADI is currently hiring for a Tactical Operations and Air/Weapons Specialist to support one of our DoD customers.
Essential Job Functions
The Tactical Operations and Air/Weapons Specialist applies subject matter expertise from experience as a military specialist towards the research, development, evaluation, and warfighter environment integration of weapons systems. Typical areas of expertise include sensor system operation, command and control, communications, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) operation, avionics, warfare tactics, and air-vehicle maintenance operation.
Duties include:
· Serve as team leader, developing procedures, managing project efforts, and leading problem resolution.
· Support the development and refinement of system requirements.
· Provide engineering, technical, operational, and analytical expertise for the client laboratories. Support associated demonstration, experiment, and Test and Evaluation events.
· Provide system development support, simulation development and validation support, and system operation support.
Provide test and evaluation of developed systems, as well as flight/ground test event support.
Requirements
Experience & Education:
- Master of Arts (MA) or Master of Science (MS) in technical or business discipline; alternatively, Bachelor’s Degree plus four (4) years additional work experience.
- At least ten (10) years of technical experience with weapons systems research and development.
- Active TS Clearance required.
