Job Summary:
The Contracts Manager is responsible for assisting in defining, developing and implementing policies and practices necessary for contract negotiation and compliance. He/she will support the Finance Team and Legal in making decisions, by providing Contractual guidance towards successful negotiations while minimizing Company risk. He/she will work closely with all departments within the organization to establish accurate and timely contractual set-up. He/she will assist in developing and implementing contractual relationships through the proposal, contract negotiation, award, administration and closeout phases. He/she shall be responsible for successful negotiation and execution of agreements/subcontracts for existing and new clients.
Essential Functions:
- Contract negotiations
- Tracking of all Contractual Documents and creation of Contract Summary documents
- Business risk management and contract compliance
- Contract administration and compliance program best practices
- Provide support to Finance team in making go/no-go decisions
- Signature authority on Contracts (including Modifications), Teaming Agreements, and Non-Disclosure Agreements
Minimum Education/Abilities/Skills:
- Degree in Business or related field is required
- Government Experience preferred
