I. Position Description:

The Quality Inspector will oversee the product inspection process to ensure that all products meet quality standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing tests and inspections on products at various stages of production to ensure that customer specifications are being met and company quality standards are followed.

II. Job Responsibilities

• Fixture parts for CMM measurement as necessary
• Run CMM programs on manufactured parts
• Developing CMM reports detailing results of measurement and import results into ATPI or customer report formats.
• Perform manual measurements on parts using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, optical comparator etc.
• Perform AS9102 FAI’s and create associated reports with supervision.

III. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• 1-2 years experience in programming (CNC or CMM preferred). Educational experience in programming is acceptable.
• 1-2 years experience in a manufacturing environment (Aerospace preferred)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word.
• Familiarity with quality testing tools and procedures
• Basic knowledge of manual measurement instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, optical comparators etc.
• Attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints with GD&T aspects

IV. Education and Experience

• High school diploma/GED required
• Background in quality or manufacturing
• 1-2 years’ experience working in an inspection lab is preferred but not mandatory for consideration.
• Working knowledge of GD&T

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 55 per week
