Allergy A.R.T.S. is a multi-specialty, multi-resource private practice clinic located in the scenic plains of Texas' panhandle. Title: Receptionist
Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Clinic Hours: Mon to Thurs 8am to 5pm
Friday 8am to 12pm
Pay Rate: Experience Based
What you will be doing for Allergy A.R.T.S. (job duties):
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, warm, and helpful manner
- Assist in the prompt and accurate answering and routing of phone calls
- Communicate clearly and efficiently in-person, via the telephone, and on any written communications
- Assure that appointment reminders are going out at the correct times and additional follow-up measures are completed (e.g. unconfirmed or missed appointments)
- Consistently and accurately obtain and update patient demographic information
- Collect and responsibly handle co-pays, balances, deductibles, etc.
- Assure quality service for our patients and co-workers
What we are looking for (requirements):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to type 40 words per minute
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite -- Excel, Word, Outlook
- Excellent Customer Service experience
- At least one (1) year of related experience or familiarity with medical practice management and electronic medical records software
What would make you shine (preferred skills):
- Experience with Eclinicalworks
- First Aid Certification
