What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN/CMA position at ALLERGY AFFILIATES?
Allergy Affiliates is looking for a LPN/CMA in Bradenton, Florida who will serve as a key member of the practice and provides clinical and administrative expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality efficient care.
GOAL: The primary goal of CMA/LPN is to increase the efficiency and the productivity of the physician they are working for.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Rooming in patients, taking and recording vital signs, obtain medical history and any other pertinent information to assist provider as directed and record in the electronic medical record.
- List all proper diagnoses and symptoms as well as follow up instructions and prescriptions as dictated by the physician.
- Transcribe patient orders including skin testing results, spirometry, laboratory tests, radiology tests, medications, etc. into the electronic medical record.
- Able to perform skin testing, spirometry and administer allergy vaccines after appropriate training
- Able to call patients back with lab results
