After a formal paid training period of 2-4 months, we entrust our Nurse Practitioners to lead their clinic independently in a team-based environment. Summary:
AllerVie Health is seeking a Full-Time Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner to become a part of our growing team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team. Allergy and Asthma experience a plus.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
- Will be required to see pediatric and adult patients
- Work ~8 hour days Monday through Friday (no nights nor weekends)
- 40 hours per week
Required Skills and Abilities:

- Ability to practice autonomously
Education and Experience:
- Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner
- Previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner (Allery, Asthma, Urgent Care, Primary Care, Pediatrics, Pulmonary, Dermatology, Cardiac, and other relevant specialties are a plus)
- Able to practice autonomously after 3 months of training
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times
