After a formal paid training period of 2-4 months, we entrust our Nurse Practitioners to lead their clinic independently in a team-based environment. Summary:
AllerVie Health is seeking a Full-Time Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner to become a part of our growing team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team. Allergy and Asthma experience a plus.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses
• Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
• Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
• Will be required to see pediatric and adult patients
• Work ~8 hour days Monday through Friday (no nights nor weekends)
• 40 hours per week

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to practice autonomously

Education and Experience:

• Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner
• Previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner (Allery, Asthma, Urgent Care, Primary Care, Pediatrics, Pulmonary, Dermatology, Cardiac, and other relevant specialties are a plus)
• Able to practice autonomously after 3 months of training

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times
