WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Tasks listed below are not an exhaustive list of all the tasks that may be required for this position.

  • Working with project management team, assist with coordination, maintenance and management of documentation needed for permanent project records, including:
    • Subcontract field document control and filing including Submittal Packages, Shop
    • Drawings, Safety Manuals, SDS files and Change Orders
    • Inspection reports;
    • Third Party Quality Inspection reporting and follow-up and other project documentation 
  • Assist with maintenance of project logs (inspection reporting, compliance letters, subcontractor correspondence).
  • Assist in the coordination of on-site construction activities for multifamily construction projects.
  • Interpret design/drawings, specifications, submittals, and other construction documents.
  • Assist Superintendents, Project Managers, and Project Engineers, and Coordinators with project-related technical and logistical functions, including subcontractor planning/administration, work assignments, etc.
  • Assist Superintendent team with development, management, and maintenance of the project schedule as needed to achieve safe, quality workmanship.
  • Track project milestone dates and work with project team to manage the activities required to achieve them.
  • Develop complete knowledge of all contracts, subcontract documents, drawings, and specifications, show drawings, schedules, labor agreements and local codes.
  • Under supervision of Superintendent team, contribute to management of onsite work to ensure that it is installed in compliance with and conforms to the approved contract documents.
  • Participate in pre-construction meetings with all trades to review scope of work and to establish expectations for production.
  • Promote and maintain onsite job safety standards as well as all applicable safety codes and regulations by enforcing project specific safety program. Conduct regular safety inspections to and take remedial action when required.
  • Participate in site testing and inspection procedures.
  • Assist with management of building permits, inspections, and final walk throughs.
  • Complete applicable field documentation for daily reports, meeting minutes, drawings, RFI, etc. as assigned.
  • Any other tasks assigned or directed.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Procore knowledge.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 application suite, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Familiar working with MS Project, P6, or similar scheduling software.
  • Effective organization and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact and relate effectively, productively, and positively with other associates.
  • Must be able to travel locally to project sites as needed.
  • Work in excess of 40 hours per week is likely.
  • Consistent, regular and in person attendance during assigned hours at the workplace are required
