Alliance for Nonprofit Resources, (ANR) is currently seeking a professional and self-motivated Family Liaison in Lawrence County. This position is fully remote which creates a great work/life balance! Monday-Friday – daylight hours. This is a casual position and must work less than 30 hours/per week. Travel is required and we offer mileage reimbursement at the state set rate!
The hourly range is $18-20/hour. This depends on degree and experience.
Position Summary:
Provides families access to critical resources depending on their needs. The Family Liaison works to maintain relationships with key contacts within the community to best assist families. These contacts include Supports Coordination Organizations, various advocacy groups, governing bodies such as the Office of Developmental Programs, and various volunteer organizations. The Family Liaison Specialist works to aid any of the organizations to connect to families and vice versa and each other.
The essential functions of this position are:
· Community Outreach.
· Lead the Administrative Entity and ODP initiatives to support ID/A initiatives.
· Coordinate with SCO’s, agencies, schools, and providers to assist individuals and their families.
· Maintain good working relationships across counties and with governmental agencies and community organizations.
· Computer competency with the ability to learn agency software.
· Be well organized, have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Knowledge of community resources.
· Maintain strict confidentiality.
· Other duties as assigned to support the mission of the agency.
Requirements:
· Associate degree in human services or related field.
· One years' experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities, or other developmental disabilities required. A bachelor’s degree in human services is preferred.
· Act 33/34 and FBI clearances will be required.
· Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
