Information Services Manager

Alliance for Strategic Growth, Inc. (ASG, Inc.) (d/b/a Eastern Indiana Works) serves as the Eastern Indiana Workforce Development Board which convenes multi-sector leaders to design and implement exceptional initiatives that meet workforce demands and contribute to the sustainable prosperity of Eastern Indiana (Economic Growth Region 6).

Incumbent is responsible for the successful coordination of information that result in the continuous performance improvement of Eastern Indiana Works. Incumbent is responsible for ensuring that all activities, policies, and procedures are implemented and carried out in compliance with federal, state, local guidelines, and laws. This position collaborates with the entire organization and external partners to ensure accurate reporting of services for all Eastern Indiana Works’ initiatives.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Managed Information Systems (MIS)

· Extract, import/export, and analyze data from various database applications.

· In conjunction with the operations team, works with partners and vendors on reporting of services from all workforce development programs in a timely manner.

· Audit data on a regular basis to ensure data integrity and quality.

· Manage appropriate procedures for the reporting of client services provided, while also preparing and delivering technical assistance and training to the users of all case management/labor exchange systems.

· Ensure that all activities, policies, and procedures are implemented and carried out in compliance with federal, state, local guidelines, and laws.

· Create strategies for information to be shared in an effective way.

· Reporting responsibilities and activities as it relates to the overall workforce development objectives set.

· Carries out monitoring responsibilities in accordance with policies and applicable laws.

· Facilitate team meetings with external service providers and partners to ensure projects meet reporting requirements.

· Serve as the EIW representative for assigned meetings, projects and/or planning sessions.

· Ensure accurate reporting of services provided through the WorkOne system.

· Prepares and submits reports (scorecard) on WorkOne system performance to the management team.

· Coordinate technical assistance and training meetings of all case management/labor exchange systems utilized by WorkOne and other grantees for various projects.

Equal Opportunity (EO) Officer

· Serve as the Corporate EO Officer

· Reporting EO and nondiscriminatory practices to the State EO Officer;

· Processing/investigating local discrimination complaints;

· Monitoring compliance of regional WIOA Title I programs.

· Undergoing training and providing training for regional staff and service providers (mandatory participation in conference calls and training sessions conducted by State EO Officer);

· Ensuring physical and programmatic accessibility of WorkOne offices and services;

· Reviewing regional policies to ensure they are non-discriminatory;

· Conducting outreach and education about EO and nondiscrimination requirements and complaint procedures; and

· Ensuring overall implementation of the State Nondiscrimination Plan.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • An undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited institution is preferred but years’ experience will be considered.
  • Strong data analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven strong presentation communication skills.
  • Previous monitoring and program management experience preferred
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Exceptional writing communication.
  • Proactive, self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to engage and add value to decision-making processes.
  • Highly developed project and time management skills.
  • A passion for excellence in service.
  • Ability to adapt well to workplace and scheduling changes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
