An Executive position and Assistant to the Practice Administrator.
The Basic purpose of the Operations Assistant is designed to carry out the Clinic Director’s (Practice Administrator & Physician Partners) goals and policies by managing the general direction of company operations relating to patient care and staff delivery of services through the partnership and guidance from the Practice Administrator. Executive level abilities assumed through the Primary or Essential responsibilities of: Business Operation Management, Employee Relations Management (Employee Culture and Engagement, Talent Development, HR Operations, Safety) and through the Evidence of Essential Qualities. As an Assistant it is expected that many of the same tasks will be performed as the Practice Administrator, on a day-to-day basis, with the exception of final decisions on important matters.
Human Resources:
- Helps Guides the company talent strategy.
- Develops, maintains, and administers personnel management programs encompassing all functional areas of personnel/labor relations. (Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, wage administration, coordination or employment and/or employee termination, benefits administration, various aspects of training, and site compliance with government regulations pertaining to personnel, and corporate policies).
- Works with upper management and physician partners to ensure commonality of practices. Provides back up support as needed Administratively
Business Operations:
- Establishes quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the company’s efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated, identifies opportunities for improvement.
- Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business procedures.
- Implements policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations.
- Ensures work environments are adequate and safe.
- Partners with each department ensuring departmental goals and appropriate company leadership.
- Plans, directs, controls, implements, evaluates, monitors, and forecasts budgets and cost of sales in each division to achieve financial objectives.
- Communicates and explains new directives, policies, or procedures to managers; for major changes, meets with entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale.
- Improves patient care service and satisfaction through policy and procedural changes.
- Leads coordination and integration of to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business processes.
- Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
- Manages company vendors. Including (but not limited to): IT, janitorial, benefit administration, legal, accounting, and payor relations, Insurance, etc.
Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a medical environment. This executive position is one of service and commitment to the patients and the employees.
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- 3 or more years of Human Resources experience
- 3 or more years working in the medical field
- OSHA experience preferred
- HRIS Experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
