$20-$22 per hour
- Client : Male, 79 years old
- Primary Diagnosis : Prostate Cancer
- Location : Woodbury, NY
Schedule :
Day Shift : Monday-Wednesday 8a-8p
Care Details :
- Client is wheelchair bound, caregiver to assist with ADLs.
- 1 dog present in the home - poodle 35 pounds. Can sometimes come into the client's room, putting the dog in a separate room is not an option.
- Wife and son are very involved in care.
Home Health Aides will provide the following tasks as indicated on the individualized plan of care :
- Perform home management tasks including housekeeping, laundry, shopping, accompanying to appointments, and errands
- Prepare and serve simple modified diets according to instruction and assists with feeding
- Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
- Assist with medication as specified on plan of care
- Observe and report all changes to RN
- Demonstrate competence in performing necessary skills
- Complete all other duties assigned within the HHA scope of practice

HHA Job Requirements :
- Must have an active New York State Home Health Aide Certificate
- Must have at least 1 year of HHA experience
- Fluency in English
