We’re seeking a qualified Executive Director of Vendor Management to oversee our vendor relationship team.  Their primary responsibilities will be to oversee and develop the Nexus team of vendor managers that are accountable for our international network of field service providers.  The goal of the Executive Director of Vendor Management is to improve relationships with field service providers to optimize network performance for existing and future clients. About the Job


The Executive Director of Vendor Management will be responsible for the overall health of the TrxNow® vendor portfolio, including the management of vendor strategy, vendor spend, and vendor performance.   This role will oversee and develop the vendor management team, which is responsible for cultivating and maintaining vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, evaluating vendor performance, and resolving problems and issues. 

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include analyzing current vendor performance, creating organizational standards, and streamlining processes.  This will require an understanding of fundamental drivers of the business, customers, partners, and competitors to improve relationships with field service providers to optimize network performance for existing and future clients. 

  • Manage Network performance by established key metrics
  • Develop and manage quarterly team OKRs
  • Implement cost controls and impact overall expenses
  • Proactively find solutions for outlier scenarios as they arise
  • Understand areas of opportunity with the overall network
  • Monitor performance and develop analytical and financial reporting for technology vendors, tracking against KPIs and SLAs
  • Analyze performance and educate partners/clients as necessary
  • Understand market trends by region and technology use in the roadside industry
  • Prepare and present reports on defined Key Results
  • Drive defined SOP adherence across multiple collaborating teams
  • Strive to help department reach Quarterly Objectives
  • Support administrative efforts to accomplish short/long term targets
  • Resolve vendor disputes or issues quickly and efficiently

Essential Functions

  • Effectively communicate to peers at various levels of seniority
  • Critically think and analyze scenarios from a value-add position to ADS
  • Understand early-stage business can require “all hands on” type scenarios
  • Utilize standard office equipment and ability to be trained on proprietary software
  • Up to 5% travel may be required

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3 years of experience in Account/Vendor Management
  • Bilingual English/Spanish or English/French
