What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant position at Allied Grading and Paving, Inc.?

Family owned and operated construction company located in Winchester, CA is looking for a hybrid role including bookkeeping, administrative assistant and personal assistant duties. Minimum of 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience in the construction industry is required, with a preference to anyone with experience in the asphalt industry. Work environment is in a home office (you must be pet friendly). Hours are 9am – 4pm, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays with the potential to pick up more hours as needed. We are looking for a candidate with an exceptional work ethic and excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Must be highly proficient using Quickbooks, Excel, Word and Outlook within a Mac operating system. The ideal candidate will be naturally detail-oriented with excellent record keeping skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour DOE

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday

Work Location: One location, home office based in Winchester, CA

- Must have 2 years of experience using QuickBooks Online. This role requires heavy use of QuickBooks

- Accounts Payable and Receivable

- Bank Reconciliation

- Experience with Lien Releases and Preliminary Notices

- Preparing Estimates & Invoices

- Assistance with Job Scheduling

Personal Assistant duties include:

- Light errands

- Research

- Answering phones

Preferred qualifications:

- Self-starter

- Experience cleaning up books

- Profit & Loss Statements
