What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Estimator position at Allied Painters Inc.?
- Responsible for preparing and sending estimates for jobs
- Attend appointments, walkthroughs, building rapport and business relationships, communicating with General Contractors and
- Assists to maintain the estimating cost data base to ensure costs are up to date
- Studies specifications to assist the field team in planning for project procedures
- Has the ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Assures that self-performed estimates comply with the requirements of the overall contract
- Understands how to create submittals
- Assists in the RFI/ASI and Change Order process
- Proficiency in the following software: MS Excel, MS Word, PlanSwift, BlueBeam, or other plan reading software
- Knowledgeable of safety regulations on a job site
- Communicate with the General Contractor
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of estimating experience - in the painting trade is a bonus
- Must be able to read plans
- Moderately proficient in excel

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
