Role Overview

We are looking for a hardworking and passionate Production Coordinator to join our growing team. This individual will report directly to the CEO. This is a hands-on and collaborative role with room for growth. Active participation in all fittings and impeccable attention to detail are crucial to the success of this role. This is an in-person role based in our New York office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years’ experience in apparel production in the fashion industry
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
• Good negotiating and follow-up skills
• Experience in overseas production
• Excellent time management/project skills with ability to multitask
• Ability to maintain individual task list, and be an independent worker
• The ideal candidate will have experience in garment sourcing, development, production, and costing
• This role is perfect for a proven self-starter who thrives in a small yet fast-paced work environment
• Prior experience with Joor a plus!

Responsibilities

• Will act as a point person between our office and factories in Asia and India with daily communication.
• Create and manage seasonal Time & Action calendar and communicate all fit deadlines to our technical designer.
• Create and manage WIP reports for each factory
• Manage the production approval process to ensure on-time delivery of product.
• Issue all production PO’s and negotiate all production pricing
• Track all outgoing and incoming samples from overseas
• Track and manage all sales samples being sent to regional sales teams
• Oversee all aspects that apply to pre-production and production such as sample requests, product development, testing, costing and awareness of customer requirements
• Prepare small packages to be shipped overseas and help manage/track the incoming packages
• Manage domestic and international quality control
• Attend and collaborate in meetings with our technical designer
• Source new factories and develop relationships with potential production or sourcing partners
• Track and report costs of goods for sampling and production
• Track Fit/TOP samples, ensure that they are received in a timely manner and meet expectations
• UPC creation and ordering all tickets for packaging
• Manage all department store requirements and order all necessary tickets
• Provide any administrative support as needed and any Ad-hoc projects as assigned.
• Communicate dropped styles to regional sales teams
• Provide weekly reports of all outstanding production issues with cross functional team
• Communicate with factories on all packing and carton labelling specifications for each account.
• Track all incoming bulk shipments and communicate expected deliveries to warehouse
• Manage style master excel to warehouse and ensure all data is accurate

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
