Job Title: Embedded Controls Hardware, Manager Job Description: Responsibilities: Be an expert in Allison’s Engineering Change Management processes Participate in cross-functional product development teams Define project objectives with engineering teams, managers, individual contributors, and suppliers Communicate status to project stakeholders Identify and implement process improvements Develop project schedules and track status to ensure execution satisfies project objectives Experience: Required: BS degree in Engineering or related field 2 years of experience with electronic controls hardware or software development Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability and desire to understand technical information and link it to program deliverables Preferred: Experience with DFMEA and best practice management Experience with automotive component development practices (APQP, DFMEA) Experience with enterprise solutions for Engineering Change Management (SAP PLM) Experience applying ISO26262 (Functional Safety) processes to electronic hardware development Primary Location: Indianapolis, IN Additional Locations: Allison Transmission is an equal opportunity employer.
