Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable assistant baker to join our team. The hours are Friday - Sunday from 1:00am until roughly 9:00am. No holidays, and we‘re closed for three weeks from mid-December until mid-January.
Duties:
- Proof, fry, and glaze donuts and pastries alongside pastry chef
- Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistent quality and taste
- Measure and mix ingredients accurately
- Operate baking equipment such as fryers, mixers, and dough sheeters
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Willingness to learn and take guidance
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations
-Must be a team player, willing to help where needed
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a baker is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to follow recipes accurately
Skills:
- Proficient in food preparation techniques and baking methods or willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate measurements and consistent quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization
