Position overview
Are you interested in generating and maintaining a detailed production plan for products that are used in goods all across the globe?
We are looking for a service oriented, self-directed and proactive Production Planner to join our team in the world-leading industrial coating resins company.
You will be responsible for the entire production planning process at our East St. Louis, IL facility.
Responsibilities
- Follow regional stocking policies, ensuring alignment with current business rules and working with PLM(s) and the regional planning lead to ensure alignment with overall business targets.
- Work with various site functional teams to generate and maintain the published production schedule.
- Control and execute distribution replenishment planning to third-party fulfillment warehouse(s).
- Ensure completion of transactional process of material requirements through the MRP process.
- Identify and review regional inventory optimization opportunities and slow moving inventory.
- Continually communicate with relevant stakeholders within the organization regarding product availability.
Required skills and experience
- 2 years of planning / manufacturing experience or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of various computer software packages, such as Microsoft Office.
- Fluent English (reading and writing) skill is required.
- The person is expected to be onsite East St. Louis, IL
Qualifications
2 or 4-year degree or equivalent experience in planning or Supply Chain.
