Summary:
The Inventory Management Technician has the responsibility and authority to ensure WIP inventory, disposition and storage are processed in accordance with throughput requirements. The Inventory Management Technician proactively resolves inventory issues including aging inventory, bottlenecks, storage and increases in WIP inventory levels. This position is responsible for properly receiving, inspecting, storing, and recording of inbound donor material, as well as receipt, verification and reconciliation of donor procurement cultures from the recovery agencies. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate documentation and consistent labeling between tissues, procurement cultures and accompanying paperwork for every donor received, and rectifying labeling/documentation errors through communication with the recovery agencies. This position must utilize electronic systems, such as ERP, bar code scanners, production schedules, and document management systems.
This includes appropriate inventory transactions, inventory handling, documentation and administrative activities as assigned. Frequent communication with multiple departments is an integral part of the job.
Working holidays or any necessary overtime, on a rotating/ scheduled basis, to ensure production needs are met. Call-in work will be determined on an as needed basis and call-in policy and procedures will be followed accordingly.
Responsibilities are broken down into:
Pay: $20.81 - $22.61/hr based on relevant years of experience
Shift Differential: $2.50/hr shift differential for weekend hours
Bonus: 10% target Bonus Program based on individual and company metrics
Shift: Friday-Sunday; 6:00am – 6:30pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
WIP Inventory Area Management
- Ensure continuous and proper flow of WIP inventory through accurate and timely inventory movement and transactions.
- Disposition donor and WIP inventory based on requests or requirements
- Conduct inventory investigations on aging inventory and bottlenecks to increase WIP inventories.
- Facilitate prioritization of inventory through post-production processes.
- Assist Supervisor with coordinating daily activities and general inventory organization.
- Act as subject matter expert in particular area as determined by Supervisor and assist with training when needed.
- Adhere to and promote proper practices and techniques which are consistent with current operating procedures, training requirements, safety practices and company policies.
- Coordinates Quality decisions for dispositions or corrections and elevates to Supervisor as necessary.
- Execute all inventory movement transactions to assure accurate inventory levels and counts which includes appropriate use of bins, warehousing, and storage conditions based on inventory type, status and 5S efforts.
- Support cycle counting activities as directed by Inventory Supervisor and reconcile and resolve cycle count discrepancies
Sterilization:
- Adhere to standardized SOPs and work instructions to safely and accurately process human tissue according to the functional area to which assigned, and the tools / equipment associated:

Inventory Tissue Movements:
- Adhere to standardized SOPs and work instructions to safely and accurately process human tissue according to the functional area to which assigned, and the tools / equipment associated:

Donor Receiving:
- Receive incoming donor material and procurement cultures and record receipt in assigned ERP and Smart Solve Electronic Receiving Form
- Inspect donor material for accuracy and/or damage and disposition material accordingly
- Reconcile procurement cultures to donor material and utilize electronic system to document the reconciliation
- Verify and reconcile documentation accompanying donors and procurement cultures, and manage communication with agencies regarding correction, when necessary
- Properly label and stage/store incoming donor material
- Properly label and stage procurement cultures for transfer to sample submission location within AlloSource
- Inspect and electronically receive tissue returned from customers
- Inspect and electronically receive tissue transferred from satellite offices and consignment customers
- Stage returned and transferred tissue in appropriate storage location for Distribution
- May perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years’ experience working in a supply chain or inventory related role that required strict adherence to policies and procedures
- Ability to read and comprehend detailed procedures, written and verbal instruction in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Experience:
- AATB certification
- CPIM, APICS certification
- Previous experience in a Regulated, Biotech, or Manufacturing Industry related to inventory management
- Experience working with ERP and barcoding systems
