Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Repair Technician to join our team. As a Wheel Repair Technician, you will be responsible for providing onsite wheel repairs for dealerships. This is a mobile position and will require a truck to pull a trailer to each location. This position requires mechanical knowledge and an eye for detail. Responsibilities:
- Walk dealership lots and provide inspection reports for managers.
- Create work orders and invoices for each job.
- Lift vehicles using jacks and remove wheel/s
- Break down tire beads and clean the rim and tire and prep for paint.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to remove curb damages
- Mix and paint the appropriate color for the wheel/s
- Basic maintenance on the equipment such as oil changes on the air compressor and generator.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions
Requirements:
- Previous experience in automotive paint or related field preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well independently.
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- High school diploma or equivalent
-The ability to lift large wheels, bend and stand for several hours per day.
-Clean driving record
- A truck (2500 recommended)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $47,319.00 - $100,000.00 per year
