Allpoints Surveying is seeking a licensed Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) to join our growing team in the Austin-San Antonio area. This is a full-time, remote work-from-home position that can be located anywhere along the Austin-San Antonio Corridor. The RPLS has the authority to sign and seal survey documents prepared by them and/or performed under their direct supervision. Upon signing and sealing, the RPLS shall take full professional responsibility for that work.

Responsibilities:

  • Sign and seal professional surveying documents, such as plot plans, forms, finals, and elevation certificates 
  • Assist with final quality control for all survey deliverables
  • Collaborate with other surveyors to refine office drafting guidelines, boundary determinations, and field procedures
  • Resolve surveying issues that may arise in daily operations
  • Mentor members of other departments on proper surveying methods and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must be a Registered Professional Land Surveyor in the state of Texas
  • Five (5) years or more of professional licensed survey experience preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of local municipalities, government agencies, surveying laws and principles, techniques, and procedures
  • Working knowledge of relevant software, including AutoCAD and field surveying instrumentation (primarily GPS Leica)
  • Ability to solve complex problems using professional judgment, creativity, and innovation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High degree of attention to detail
