Job description

The Sales Specialist role to develop and grow the business for Allspring Global Investment’s REMI distribution through organizations with advisors within B/D networks. Partnering with established Regional Sales Directors to educate financial advisors on the value of custom SMA solutions to include but not limited to tax management, ESG, custom indexing, and SMArt outcomes for Fixed Income.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with Regional Sales Directors to build a pipeline of advisor prospects and help to qualify new business leads for Allspring’s REMI ecosystem.
  • Coordinate and attend meetings with current and prospective clients.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of REMI workflows and Allspring’s investment/portfolio management process.
  • Prepare client-focused marketing and education collateral based on internal and external requests.
  • Facilitate account service and operational requests in a timely manner.
  • Drive growth efforts by coordinating across sales, operations, and Portfolio Management teams.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 10 years related work experience in Financial Services industry.
  • CFA and/or significant equivalent experience within retail wealth management.
  • Strong knowledge of fixed income, equity investment landscape, multi-asset portfolio management, financial planning, taxes, ESG.
  • Extensive experience working with financial advisors and extensive knowledge of select B/D’s.
