Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accurate stock levels
- Coordinate with suppliers to procure necessary inventory items
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Oversee shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
- Utilize data analysis skills to monitor inventory trends and make informed purchasing decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory management processes
- Utilize Nielsen data and other market research tools to forecast demand and adjust inventory levels accordingly
- Stay updated on e-commerce trends and adjust inventory strategies to meet online sales demands
- Conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement
- Assist in logistics planning and coordination for efficient inventory movement
Experience:
- Previous experience in inventory management or related field preferred
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret and utilize complex data sets
- Familiarity with inventory control systems and software
- Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management
- Experience with shipping and receiving operations
- Understanding of e-commerce platforms and their impact on inventory management
