The Senior Software Engineer Lead Consultant architects and designs their digital products using modern tools, technologies, frameworks, and systems. They apply a systematic application of scientific and technological knowledge, methods, and experience to the design, implementation, testing, and documentation of software. They own and manage running their application in production, and ultimately becomes accountable for the success of their digital products through achieving KPIs.
* Participate in inceptions and iteration planning meetings, infusing backlogs with technical input working in close partnership with the product manager
* Leads and participates in daily site, cross-site, and product team standups
* Leads and participates in retrospectives; demonstrating and encouraging each participant to provide feedback with empathy
* Provides technical feedback and performs code reviews for the team members.
* Partners in collaboration and strategy alignment across product portfolios (cross-product) in partnership with product managers, other peers, and key stakeholders
* Serves as an expert on one or more business domain and a distinguished advocate of multiple technology stacks and shares that knowledge across organizations
* Coaches the team and leads daily practices of agile programming and test-driven development in writing software and building products
* Establishes continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment pipelines and practices
* Provides support to users for software products in production and non-production environments
* 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
* 7 or more years of experience (Preferred)
* In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
* Back-End Technologies: c#, WebForms, Ajax, NUnit/Moq for testing, micro services and related patterns, Entity Framework 3.1, WinServices, WCF, .Net Core 8, .Net 4.7/4.8, Nuget packages and SDK
* Frontend Technologies: html, css, javascript, JQuery, AngularJS, NG Zoro, Angular, Type Script, Jasmine/Karma for Angular front-end testing, Razor/Blazor Components
* No Certification, License or Registration is required for the job.
* Hands on experience and accountability architecting, designing, implementing, and delivering large scale distributed systems and/or applications for the cloud, including microservices architectures and 12-factor principles
* Experience developing software in different programming languages, and demonstrated ability to quickly learn new languages and technologies
* Experience developing software in different programming languages, and demonstrated ability to quickly learn new languages, including but not limited to JavaScript, Java (Spring), .NET, Ruby, Python, Golang, and JavaScript
* Experience and knowledge in developing REST APIs including tooling for documentation (swagger, REST-docs, openapi spec), versioning, service discovery/registration, testing and management; experience using API gateways is a plus
* Experience and knowledge in web and API security including authentication, authorization, OAuth, OWASP Top 10, OpenID, and SAML
* Knowledge and experience using distributed version control systems (GIT).
* Deep understanding and experience on Agile - Scrum process and methodology.
* Deep understanding and experience on Microsoft Azure DevOps, Application Insights
* Ability to write technical details for user stories assigned to self or other developers on the team.
* Ability to write technical notes and hints for quality assurance engineers on user stories that helps them write their test cases.
* Efficiency in writing, troubleshooting and performance tuning of Microsoft SQL and LINQ queries and complex database operations.
* Good knowledge and experience on writing unit tests and integration tests
* Good experience with Json and Xml data types and serializers.
* API Testing via Postman, SoapUI, PowerShell scripts
* Familiarity with SSIS and SSRS is a plus
Compensation offered for this role is$84,500.00-$149,750.00 per yearand is based on experience and qualifications.
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
