AllSTEM Connections has a need for a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler in Gregory, TX. This is an onsite position. The person must be local or willing to relocate for the duration of the contract on their own dime.
The Capital Planner role is fundamental and critical to the effective and efficient execution of Capital project work through job planning, requisitioning and receiving materials, and kitting materials to execute work within the boundaries established by management. The Capital Planner interacts frequently with the Project Managers, Designers, Contract Construction, Mechanics, Storeroom personnel, and Area Operations.
Plans maintenance work according to established guidelines. Plans and estimates jobs. Procures necessary parts and materials to complete work orders. Plans and updates daily/weekly/shutdown schedules according to procedures. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: • Reviews Scope Of Work (SOW) in Issued for Construction (IFC) package for field execution feasibility • Create Notification in SAP and convert to work order • Identifies crafts/resources required to complete project • Verifies Bill of Materials (BOM) against Construction drawings, pipe codes, standards, etc. • Verifies quotes are provided and up to date for engineered equipment • Obtains Updates quotes and quotes for basic material, as needed • Plan work order by adding operations per the project scope into SAP • Enters all material from BOM and quotes into requisitions for purchase in SAP; notifies Project Manager that the requisition is ready for approval • Follows up with procurement to ensure requisition was received and PO being created and released • Follows up with vendor to ensure PO is received, understood and to obtain an expected delivery date • Tracks all material ordered • Checks receiving daily to obtain any received material for Capital Projects and moves materials received to capital warehouse • Receive and store capital material • Notifies Technical Engineers of receipt of material when inspection on site is required prior to unloading • Initiates operation in WO to have Maintenance bench check and calibrate instruments as needed • Engages with Capital Procurement Lead, as needed, for any material that is not meeting delivery schedule • Addresses requisition changes, PO changes/cancellations as they occur • Engages crafts as needed to verify man hours and accuracy of SOW and BOM • Work with Contractors, Operations, Maintenance, and Construction to schedule work • Work closely with Construction Manager to track project to completion • Assists Project Manager, as requested, to ensure all invoices are submitted, paid and commitments cleared
Responsibilities:To be qualified for this role, you must possess the following: • 3 years experience in industrial manufacturing environment, or 3 years Industrial Maintenance Experience • 2 years of experience in work order planning • Demonstrated ability to operate computers and WINDOWS software such as WORD, OUTLOOK and EXCEL • Strong ability to interpret P&IDs, bills of material, and detailed drawings and translate to planning steps • 1 years of experience participating in capital projects • Superior Oral and Written skills. • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. • Self-motivated and capable of completing assignments with minimal guidance • Organized, ambitious with the ability to drive work effectively in an expedited time frame • Proficient in the use of SAP or equivalent system • Ability to manage short duration deadlines, emergency situations, and multiple priorities • Willing and able to wear required PPE (personal protective equipment)
The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit: • Experience working in the chemicals industry preferred. • Experience in the capital and/or construction is a plus.
