The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for the assembly of mechanical components of automation equipment per supplied mechanical drawings and the assembly of pneumatic components. The Mechanical Assembler collaborates with individuals and departments and should have basic written and verbal communication skills.
Your Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and written instructions.
- Assemble parts or products:
- Assemble doors, align doors and windows in frames, machine leveling, properly identify screw torque, and set screws.
- Perform basic measurements: Tape, scale, calipers, Metric, SAE, and conversion.
- Install the mechanical portion of the product.
- Assemble light pneumatic components per pneumatic diagrams.
- Follow instructions for tube forming.
- Ensure quality, and look for faulty components during the assembly process.
- Assist in the preparation of equipment to be created.
- Inspect incoming manufactured parts for quality and conformance to print.
- Assist Controls and Electrical Technicians with the mounting of electrical components.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Assembly: 2 years (Required)
