Full-Time Clinical Informaticist
As a Partner in Well-being, the Clinical Informaticist is a healthcare information professional responsible for verifying the validity of experiments and data gathered. They ensure that processes and protocols are followed, thereby improving the quality and efficiency of care. They coordinate with other relevant departments to determine the areas to be analyzed and see that appropriate measures are taken to ensure data analysis is useful. You will work directly with staff to train and alter usage for better security, data, and client care. Evaluate existing systems and make recommendations to improve functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware problems to ensure client care. Consult, coordinate, and plan information system integration and usage across programs..
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Functions as an Electronic Health Records expert.
- Works closely with different departments and programs to ensure accurate collecting, recording, and reporting of data.
- Develops, prepares, and maintains highly complex reports and provides and/or interprets information and data across programs, divisions, and groups.
- Works with clinical teams and users to identify, track, and resolve issues.
- Works with leadership within the informatics department to prioritize business and information needs.
- Contributes to the reengineering of workflows and identifies opportunities for system enhancement and optimization.
- Travel to attend meetings, conferences, or other events when applicable.
- Performs additional duties as assigned or requested.
- At least 2 years of experience in a help desk or informatics-related position or a Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related.
- Proof of valid driver’s license and current/adequate vehicle insurance coverage.
- Must pass criminal background study through DHS NetStudy 2.0.
- Valid driver's license and insurable under the agency's automobile insurance policy.
- Access to a personal vehicle, and the ability and willingness to use the vehicle in carrying out position responsibilities, including travel within the service area and to other areas for workshops or as part of job duties.
