Our Agency is actively looking for a
Full-Time Fleet and Facilities Manager
As our Fleet and Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily ongoing and long-term maintenance of the Agency’s facilities and vehicles. Oversee and supervise employees in the Facilities Department. Manage Fleet and Facilities annual operating and capital budgets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Manage day-to-day operations of facilities and fleet
- Foster a professional working environment
- Maintain grounds, buildings and equipment to ensure a safe and functional workplace
- Negotiate Contracts with service providers
- Coordinate and manage facility renovation and expansion projects
- Monitor, maintain and manage fleet of vehicles to ensure availability to meet business requirements
- Inspect facilities and vehicles to meet safety regulations
- Ensures security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly.
- Handles general accounting tasks, such as accounts payable, payroll, and capital budgeting.
- Oversees and supervises the quality of work for other employees to ensure that all tasks are performed correctly, efficiently, and effectively.
- Forecasts, allocates, and supervises the financial and physical resources of the facility and fleet management.
- Associates Degree or experience in a related field.
- Minimum of six years of progressively responsible fleet and/or facilities experience, with at least three years of management and supervision experience.
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
- Access to a personal vehicle and the ability and willingness to use the vehicle in carrying out position responsibilities.
- Valid driver’s license and insurable under agency’s automobile insurance policy
- Must be free from substance use problems for a period of no less than 2 years.
- Must pass criminal background study through DHS NetStudy 2.0
