Show Manager

Responsibilities for this position is to lead and manage all aspects of event execution. This includes developing the event budget based upon the strategy as well as the development of the needed RFPs and vendor procurement. This position will lead and facilitate the event team meetings, direct all on-site logistics, provide necessary training, maintain key vendor relations, and identify best practices to improve the experience for our customers and the team.

Responsibilities:

• Optimize the event planning, operations and logistics based upon your experience and skills.
• Accountable to deliver the established profit margin per event managed.
• Improve processes for executing meetings to drive efficiency in operation and time management for all team members per event.
• Secure vendor (i.e., registration, housing, security, exhibitor services, catering, sponsorship opportunities, tech platforms, etc.) selection and verify contracts to protect the event and Allured.
• Manage site review recommendations, negotiate contracts, onboarding & execution; set requirements for the event (room sets, a/v needs, tech platforms, catering); on site logistic coordination, review billing comparatively to prior year and budget.
• Lead all event digital initiatives and strategy in collaboration with team members.
• Work collaboratively with the “Conference Director” to secure the speaker call for papers, contracts, bios, presentations, and other necessary deliverables.
• Build and manage the content on the host registration platform, including all conference & expo programs, attendee registration and payment gateway content and communication.
• Update online platforms; Aventri for registration and “Map Your Show” for exhibitor contracts.
• Collaborate fluently with Finance to manage all event revenues and expenses to budget.

Education and/or Experience:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree
• Experienced working in SaaS platforms
• Experience with HTML for content development, posting and management.
• Experience with bookkeeping is preferred
• CEM and/or CMP certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills:

• 4-6 years trade show or project management
• 2-3 years budgeting and planning
• Experience working with HTML
• Fluent and experienced working with MS Office
• Experienced to lead trade show set-up and moderate travel

Pay: $45,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
