Data Architect

Role: Data Architect

Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore (Hybrid – weekly 2 days to office)

Required qualifications:

Candidate must have strong experience in Data Engineering with basic understanding of Cloud Engineering areas.

1. Data Engineering:

• Hands on experience on one or more Data engineering tools such as Talend, Data bricks, HVR, Data Build Tool, Azure Data Factory, CI/CD, Automated Testing, Data Lakes, DWH, Big Data, Collibra, Unity Catalog.
• Strong experience working on analytics applications using Azure Purview, Power BI, Spot Fire, Azure ML.
• Good understanding of working with structured as well as unstructured data.
• Capable of defining best practices for Data governance, Data Quality & Data Lineage & operationalizing the same.

1. Cloud Engineering:

• Desired: Azure Administration (or equivalent on AWS or Google Cloud Platform) including provisioning, networking, security and monitoring for Azure services like Databricks, Analysis services, Synapse, SQL Server, ADF, ML, Storage Accounts, Webservers, Firewalls, Proxy, Application Gateways, CosmosDB, Azure IoT, Neo4J, Kafka and ADX/InfluxDB etc.
• Ability to design and implement multizonal & multiregional environments with High Availability & Disaster Recovery.
• Ability to implement automation using DevOps, IaC (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet) & automated testing.

Project Management & Communication Skills:

1. Strong project management skills with experience in executing projects using Agile delivery framework.
2. Sound knowledge of project management tools such as ADO, Jira, MS Projects
3. Communication skills, leadership skills including strategic thinking and thought leadership.

Programming Skills:

1. Programming experience including CI/CD experience using Python, Java, Scala or .Net.

Compliance Knowledge:

1. Experience on regulated systems including GxP, SoX, HIPAA & GDPR

In addition to above, ideal candidate may also have the following qualifications:

1. Designing solution architecture and present the architecture in multiple architecture review forums.
2. Familiarity with industrial automation and IoT including working knowledge and experience on SCADA systems, MES systems and historians.
3. Familiarity with supply chain systems including SAP.
4. Certifications such as TOGAF or Architect level certifications from Cloud Service Providers such as Azure or AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
