What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant II position at Ally Financial?
The Accountant II will be a member of Ally's Controller's Team. Reporting to the Director or Manager, the position will be responsible for providing accurate, timely, and relevant financial information in support of Mortgage Accounting, Reporting and Operations, assisting in the preparation of the consolidated financial statements of a public company and key responsibilities include gathering information from the various groups, and pulling the information into the quarterly and annual financial statements. Under general supervision, the position will be responsible for accounting-related activities for the mortgage loan portfolio.
