Job Details
The Salesforce Developer will assist the Director of Sales Operations in managing and optimizing sales processes, data/reporting, incentives, sales tools and various administrative tasks for the organization. You will be the lead developer on a team where you will use your skills and expertise to enhance and evolve the value of our Salesforce instance across the business. You will also partner with other teams to increase adoption to our Salesforce platform.
Job Description
- All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules
- Salesforce configuration changes, including; Workflow, Process Builder, Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports
- Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed
- Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer
- Assist with new users and ongoing training. Monitor and improve user adoption. Identify unused or underutilized platform features with a focus on exceptional user experience
- Provide technical assistance and end user troubleshooting for bug fixes and enhancements.
- Create and maintain documentation of processes, policies, application configuration, and help related materials for internal Salesforce user base
- Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Visualforce, (based on specific requirements) to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements,
- Custom User Interface development, including Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components
- Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the organization
- Take ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code
- Integrate and maintain business applications to Salesforce, such as Pardot, Aventri, NetSuite, etc.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of Salesforce experience including both Salesforce Admin and Salesforce Developer responsibilities
- Salesforce Admin and Salesforce Platform Developer 1 Certification required
- Experience implementing and developing in Apex, Visualforce, and Javascript and Lightning Components
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent hands-on work experience in lieu of degree.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
