You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust monitoring and event management solutions. Your deep understanding of Netcool and related technologies will be crucial in ensuring the high availability and performance of critical systems. You will work closely with other engineers and teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and implement proactive monitoring strategies.

Must-Have Skills
- IBM Tivoli Netcool Suite: 5 years of experience engineering solutions
- Netcool Omnibus: Message bus probe/gateway experience, probe rule writing (including regular expressions)
- Apache Kafka Ecosystem: Experience with messaging and log aggregation
- Fault Tolerance and High Availability: Design experience for resilient systems
- Unix: Strong background in Unix operating systems
- Netcool Impact: Policy writing experience
- XML: Experience with XML data formats
- Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with Dynatrace, Splunk Enterprise (deployment, instrumentation, analytics, alerting), Tivoli, Microfocus BPM, Sitescope, Catchpoint, etc.
- Infrastructure Services: Knowledge of OS (Windows/Unix) based infrastructure services, processing, monitoring, shell scripting
- Programming: Proven experience with Java and/or .NET
- Performance Monitoring: Experience in application/network performance and availability monitoring
- N-Tier Architecture: Experience supporting multi-tier architectures (Webserver, Middleware, Database)
- ITIL: Knowledge of ITIL functions and processes

- 5 years of experience engineering solutions with IBM Tivoli Netcool Suite
- Strong understanding of Netcool Omnibus, Apache Kafka, and Unix
- Experience with fault-tolerant and high-availability design
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
