Job Title: Sr. DevOps Engineer
Work Location: Ft. Collins, CO or Remote
Clearance Required: US Citizen & Public Trust
Alpha Omega is looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with at least 9 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field to join our team. The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for coordinating and performing additions and changes to applications/software, as well as providing direct support in day-to-day operations. This role involves troubleshooting issues and providing technical consultation and support to IT staff. Additionally, the Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining Pipelines, Data Integrations, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for our CI/CD pipelines and associated project-based deployments.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical consultation, training, and support to IT staff as designated by the government.
- Create, manage, and maintain Pipelines, Data Integrations, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for CI/CD pipelines and associated project-based deployments.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD Pipelines, and Quality gates automations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 9 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Ability to provide technical consultation, training, and support to IT staff.
- Experience creating, managing, and maintaining Pipelines, Data Integrations, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with Git, CI/CD Pipelines, and automations for quality gates.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
