Job Title: Sr. UI/UX Designer
Work Location: Remote
Clearance Required: Public Trust
We are seeking a Senior UI/UX designer to support our client. This position is part of an agile development team supporting our client’s efforts to consolidate its web pages into a modern, unified presence. The position will work across various geographical locations to lead the design process from early concept development to implementation into production. Deliverables will include design mockups, experience flows, prototyping, design presentations, production of visual assets, process design and development.
Responsibilities:
- Creating user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback
- Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes and mockups
- Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns and attractive user interfaces
- Designing UI elements such as input controls, navigational components, and informational components
- Collaborating effectively with product, development, and management teams
- Incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design in order to enhance user experience
- Developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy
- Investigating user experience design requirements for all projects assigned
- Producing high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams and storyboards
- Creating and helping to enforce adherence to style standards
- Keep the mockups updated and improve features
Required Skills:
- 5 years of UI/UX design experience with a portfolio showcasing a variety of digital work
- Understanding of best practices and procedures for UX Design, concepts, wireframes and user flows
- Must have experience with web accessibility standards and testing
- Knowledge of UI design
- Experience with Adobe XD and other design tools
- Knowledge of responsive web design
- Strong understanding of Scrum & Kanban methodologies
- Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
