Alpha Phi Alpha Homes, Inc. is a diverse non-profit organization that specializes in the development and management of affordable housing and senior resident living communities. Currently we are looking for a qualified Assistant Village Manager for our Channelwood Village & Callis Tower. Under the guidance of the Village Manager, the Assistant Village Manager is expected to support the maintenance of the overall physical and financial operation of the property.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Management responsibilities include but are not limited to managing day-to-day operations, operating budget, financial reporting, daily administrative duties, personnel supervision, purchasing, and maintenance operations and establishing and maintaining resident relationships. The Assistant Village Manager will oversee building and grounds maintenance, ensure adherence to HUD rules and guidelines, supervise administrative and maintenance staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experienced in Public and Subsidized Housing Programs.
Working knowledge of State and Federal Fair Housing Regulations and 504 Requirements a plus.
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication, public speaking, and presentation skills.
Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, OneSite or other industry software required.
Ability to obtain industry designations such as COS (Certificate Occupancy Specialist).
Demonstrates good judgment and patience.
Ability to focus on multiple requests and meet deadlines in fast paced environment.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse backgrounds.
Track record of delivering results and assuming leadership roles.
Detail oriented and process minded with a broad strategic outlook.
Education & Experience:
Bachelors or Advanced degree from an accredited college/university
Associates degree from accredited college/university with 5 years of relevant experience
High school diploma or equivalent with 10 or more years of relevant housing experience

Pay: $48,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year
